Job Opening: ELV Technician / Junior Engineer (KNX / Building Automation) Job Title: ELV Technician / Junior Automation Engineer Location: Doha, Qatar Industry: Building Automation / GRMS / Smart Home Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to QAR 4,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Requirement: Transferable Visa with NOC / Immediate Joiners Only Job Summary We are looking for a motivated ELV Technician / Junior Automation Engineer to handle hands-on site execution, ETS programming, testing, and commissioning of smart automation systems. This role is ideal for skilled technicians, programmers, or Junior Technical Engineers looking to gain solid site experience in KNX and GRMS integration. Fresh graduates with practical training and strong technical fundamentals are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Technical & Programming: Configure, program, and commission KNX automation systems using ETS software. Perform testing and site programming for lighting control panels, field modules, sensors, keypads, and controllers. Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and maintain KNX, GRMS, and associated ELV hardware. Provide technical support on site and maintain basic engineering documentation and updates. Site Execution & Support: Assist in site execution to ensure installations meet schedule requirements and technical standards. Work directly with sub-contractors, site teams, and consultants to resolve daily technical issues. Help gather supplier quotes and verify material requirements against shop drawings. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Diploma or BTech/BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering. Role Fit: Open to Junior Technical Engineers, Programmers, and Skilled ELV Technicians. Experience: 1+ years in site execution or automation preferred. Passionate Junior Engineers and Freshers with practical KNX/ETS training are encouraged to apply. Certifications: KNX Partner Certification is a major advantage. Technical Skills: Practical understanding or working knowledge of ETS software. Basic familiarity with building automation protocols (KNX, BACnet, Modbus) and AutoCAD layout reading. Strong technical troubleshooting mindset and willingness to work hands-on at site. Status in Qatar: Must have a valid, transferable visa with NOC and be available for immediate joining.
