Job Description

Position: Estimation & Design Engineer Industry: Smart Home / ELV / Building Automation Experience: 3–5 years Location: Qatar Visa: Transferable Visa with NOC preferred Key Responsibilities: - Prepare technical designs and cost estimates for home automation and ELV projects. - Prepare BOQs and detailed material requirements. - Analyze project drawings and specifications. - Prepare quotations and technical proposals. - Select suitable automation products and systems. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams. - Prepare AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation. - Assist in project planning and technical presentations. - Review supplier quotations and compare technical and commercial offers. - Support the project team during installation and commissioning when required. Required Education: - Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field. Required Experience: - 3–5 years of experience in Home Automation / ELV design and estimation. - Experience with BOQ preparation and cost estimation. - Experience preparing technical proposals. - Good knowledge of AutoCAD. Technical Knowledge: Candidates should have strong knowledge of one or more of the following: - KNX - Crestron - Control4 - Lutron - HDL - Smart Home Automation Systems - ELV / Building Automation Systems Preferred Qualifications: - Qatar/GCC experience preferred. - KNX Certification will be an advantage. - Transferable visa with NOC.
