Job Description

Instrumentation Technician Location: Qatar Responsibilities: * Perform operation, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level). * Calibrate, test, loop check, and verify instrument functionality. * Troubleshoot and rectify instrument faults. * Execute tubing, fitting, minor modifications, and instrument replacements. * Perform cable termination, glanding, continuity checks, and basic wiring. * Support PLC, SCADA, and monitoring systems. * Interpret technical documents: P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, layouts, wiring diagrams, and SLDs. * Ensure strict compliance with PTW, LOTO, Electrical Safety Rules, and HSE procedures. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and checklists. Required Skills & Experience: * Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting. * Strong practical knowledge of field instruments and calibration. * Ability to read and apply complex technical diagrams and documentation. * Understanding of safety procedures (PTW, LOTO, HSE) is mandatory. * Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
