Job Description

Job Vacancy: Procurement Manager Location: Qatar Industry: Ready-mix / Construction Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. • Manage the end-to-end procurement process including RFQs, tendering, negotiation, and contracting. • Oversee vendor selection, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials required for production and projects. • Coordinate with Finance to ensure supplier payments and budget alignment. • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures. • Build and maintain effective supplier relationships and strategic alliances. • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability. • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements. • Monitor and mitigate procurement risks and delays. • Ensure inventory levels are optimized without overstocking or shortages. • Collaborate with project managers, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless supply. • Ensure quality standards are maintained in all purchases. • Identify, develop, and implement automation and process improvement initiatives. • Prepare procurement reports and KPIs for senior management. • Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations. • Manage a team of buyers and procurement officers. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field • 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. • Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and local Qatar market • Proven negotiation, contract management, and cost-control skills • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Must be available in Qatar with a valid QID
