📢 Hiring: QA/QC Engineer (Electrical & ICA) 📍 Location: Industrial Area, Qatar ⏳ Duration: 2 Months (Extendable ) 🚀 Expected Joining: Immediate ________ *Job Purpose & Summary* We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all Electrical and Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) works at the IIWWTW site are executed in strict compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and Qatar Construction Standards (QCS 2023). The goal is to maintain the highest quality standards as required by Ashghal (Public Works Authority) and ensure zero defects during the final handover. ________ *Key Responsibilities* Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation •  Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) for Electrical and ICA works. •  Ensure all quality activities comply with Ashghal’s QMS and documentation protocols. Inspection & Testing •  Conduct and witness inspections for electrical installations (LV/MV), grounding/earthing systems, lighting, and power distribution. •  Inspect ICA components including SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, control panels, field instrumentation (flow, pressure, level sensors), and cabling. •  Witness and verify Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop checking, and calibration procedures. Compliance & Standards •  Ensure works follow approved IFC drawings, material submittals, and project specifications. •  Comply with international standards such as IEC, ISA, BS, NEC, and QCS 2023. •  Review vendor documents, submittals, and calibration certificates for technical compliance. Documentation & Reporting •  Maintain strict traceability of QA/QC documentation per Ashghal protocols. •  Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for the Project Manager. •  Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including corrective actions and closure verification. ________ *Qualifications & Experience* *Educational Background* •  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering. *Professional Experience* •  Minimum 7 years in QA/QC roles. •  At least 3 years on Ashghal infrastructure or water/wastewater projects (mandatory). •  Experience in Industrial Waste Water Treatment Works (IIWWTW) or similar STP projects preferred. •  Experience in short-term, high-intensity projects is an advantage. Technical Skills & Knowledge •  Expertise in ICA systems: SCADA, PLC, RTU, sensors, actuators, MODBUS, Profibus, Ethernet. •  Familiar with Ashghal documentation and approval processes. •  Proficient in reading electrical single line diagrams, loop drawings, and control philosophies. •  Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. *Certifications (Preferred)* •  ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (advantage). •  Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, OSHA) a plus. ________ *Personal Attributes & Competencies* •  Attention to Detail: Ensure “First Time Right” quality in inspections and documentation. •  Communication: Strong English skills; able to coordinate with Ashghal inspectors and consultants. •  Problem-Solving: Quick on-site decision-making to resolve quality issues. •  Integrity: High ethical standards and commitment to independent QA. ⚠️ Note: Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and available for immediate joining.
